Jacob Jankel is Chief Technology Officer at i-media, responsible for product and technology strategy. His focus is on transforming first-party data into planning, buying, and attribution tools that are simple and effective for advertisers.

At i-media, Jacob has overseen the development of real-time data targeting and advanced reporting solutions, giving brands powerful insights into motorway audiences. He also led the creation of Pitstop, a consumer app offering UK drivers rewards and utilities, highlighting his ability to bridge commercial and consumer innovation.

With almost a decade of experience delivering complex B2B technology solutions, Jacob’s career began in machine learning before founding Signus Analytics, an analytics firm that built turnkey tools for some of London’s largest law firms. These solutions allowed firms to estimate litigation costs and size cases more accurately. Beyond this, he has co-led technology teams and projects across industries including defence and logistics.


Holding a Systems Engineering degree and an MSc in Advanced Analytics from Imperial College London, Jacob combines academic expertise with hands-on product leadership. At i-media, his role is central to ensuring roadside advertising evolves into a more dynamic, data-led, and measurable channel for brands. Outside of work, Jacob is an avid music producer with a catalogue of high-profile house music releases, and a dedicated gym fanatic.
