i-media has expanded its Map Visualiser, giving clients and planners a more detailed, more accurate view of its national out-of-home network as it continues to grow.

The interactive tool now plots 392 locations across the UK, covering roadside, motorway service area (MSA), and EV hub sites. Each category carries its own pin colour and live count, letting planners see coverage and density at a glance and filter the map to build bespoke campaign views by site type, amenities, road route, inventory and region.

The update adds three new capabilities. EV hub sites are now broken out as their own category, reflecting the growing charging network within i-media's estate. GB BARB regions are overlaid on the map with region and city labels, so sites can be viewed by media planning region as well as geography. And a new site code search lets planners jump straight to a location when they already know its reference, rather than scrolling or zooming to find it.

Digital inventory counts have also been upgraded to draw directly from live screen data, sharpening the accuracy of what's shown for every site.

Every MSA on the map is backed by data from i-media's bank, including weekly and yearly vehicle counts and average dwell time for petrol and EV cars, alongside real, on-the-ground photography of the format in situ. That photography rollout is ongoing, with every Motorway Service Area, roadside and EV hub screen being progressively covered.

"The map is never static," said Hannah Ainsworth. "New sites, updated imagery and refined categorisation go in on an ongoing basis, so it always reflects the current state of our network."

The Map Visualiser is available now for clients and planners and a lite version is available here.
